New Place Hotel Wedding Fayre - 12th March 2023

Sinclair Wedding Films will be exhibiting at New Place Hotel Wedding Fayre (FREE ENTRY) on Sunday 12th of March 2023 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This will be our first time at this stunning venue, which is local to us. It will be a return visit for Spencer who filmed a past project in the Bristol Room thanks to the support of the New Place Hotel management.

The New Place Hotel wedding fayre is another great opportunity for anyone who would like to meet us in person to chat about your wedding videography or wedding drone videography ideas; or ask any other questions you might have about our packages and approach to filming.

The moment you enter through the ornate wrought-iron gates, New Place will leave a lasting impression. New Place Hotel is a Grade I listed house and a true masterpiece of brickwork, a home that combines Tudor and Elizabethan eccentricities with subtle, modern touches. The building was designed and built by the famous British architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens. He merged the interior of an existing 17th century mansion with his own signature style; to this day, the mansion remains a place of breath-taking beauty and historic grandeur, but also has a warmth and personality.

New Place has a welcoming look internally, with neutral tones complimenting the striking interior features whilst adding an elegant and classy feel throughout both the Manor House and Arden Suite. This established wedding venue see’s many couples choosing it for their wedding every year, and whether it’s your reception, your ceremony, or both, the expert team will make sure that your day is as individual, exciting and memorable as you have always dreamed. You will be their focus as they exclusively only hold one wedding per day. They believe that no two weddings are the same and treat each event with a fresh approach, and an abundance of energy.

The wedding fayre at New Place Hotel will see 50 top class wedding suppliers spaced out over two floors and in the Manor House and Arden Suite, who will all help you to choose everything you need to make your wedding perfect. New Place is somewhat special to us at Sinclair Wedding Films, it where my sister had her prom and where I [Spencer] filmed one of my personal projects for the short time I studied at Solent University. It’s worth noting for the high flyers and fun loving couples out there that New Place Hotel has room for a helicopter to land for you to make a grand entrance, and there are plenty of areas for stunning photographs to be taken. This PMN Wedding Fayre is set to be another great event, which we are looking forward, and a great opportunity to engage with wedding suppliers in stunning surroundings, making it an ideal destination for couples wanting to explore ideas for the big day.

New Place was commissioned by Mrs A. S. Franklyn in 1904. Mrs Franklyn had inherited a large early 17th Century mansion in Bristol, which was scheduled for demolition. Wanting a new home in which to incorporate elements salvaged from the Bristol house, and to commemorate her ancestral connections with William Shakespeare, in 1904 she commissioned Sir Edwin Lutyens to design a new house, which was aptly named after New Place in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Please Note: As a Grade 1 listed building there are no lifts within the Manor House. Therefore access for those with walking difficulties will be limited to the first floor.
